Angela Pettitt

Assistant Teaching Professor of English at Penn State Shenango

Angela Pettitt is an assistant teaching professor of English at Penn State Shenango, where she teaches first-year composition, writing for the social sciences, American Studies, and journalism. Her research interests include diversity representation in the curriculum and SoTL. In 2014, she helped recover a short story by 19th-century author Kate Chopin that had been considered lost for more than a century. Angela is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction at the University of South Carolina with plans to graduate in summer 2024.
