Kate McLean is a qualitative sociologist who teaches, and conducts research, at the intersection of criminal justice and public health. Her primary areas of interest include harm reduction strategies for preventing overdose, substance use in sport, and expanding undergraduate research opportunities in the social sciences. As a 2020-2021 SEN Faculty Fellow, she helped develop a multi-campus CURE in criminal justice.
