Senior Director of Career Services for Penn State and an Affiliate Associate Professor in Counselor Education

Dr. Robert Orndorff (Bob) is currently the Senior Director of Career Services for Penn State and an Affiliate Associate Professor in Counselor Education. Bob also serves as a training specialist, leading professional development seminars for Penn State faculty and staff. Bob is currently in his 21st year at Penn State Career Services, and his 8th year as Senior Director. Over the past 33 years, Bob has worked at four universities in addition to Penn State: Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown University, Moravian College, and Elon University. In addition to working in higher education, Bob is a career and interpersonal author and consultant in the education, business, and government sectors. Bob was the lead author of a Business book, The PITA Principle: How to work with and avoid becoming a Pain In The A**. In the community, Bob has been active as a youth league coach and a thought-piece columnist on “Fathering” for the Centre Daily Times.
