Ally Mastrangelo

Undergraduate Student Research Assistant with Mapping the Student Engagement Journey

 

Ally Mastrangelo is the Undergraduate Student Research Assistant with Mapping the Student Engagement Journey. She is a current senior and Schreyer Honors Scholar at Penn State, University Park from Saunderstown, Rhode Island. Ally is graduating in December of 2019 with BA’s in Labor & Employment Relations and Psychology. After graduation, she plans to attend law school and pursue employment law. Ally is intrigued by this project because of her previous research experience and involvement in student engagement at Penn State. She is a Research Assistant with the Underrepresented Perspectives Lab in the Psychology Department, which focuses on prejudice and minority attitudes towards dominant groups. She is involved in other student engagement opportunities as well, including New Student Orientation, Greek Life, THON, Lion Scouts, and Penn State Alternative Breaks. Ally is also involved with the Italian Department through her Italian minor, study abroad experience, and membership in the Italian Honors Society. Along with being an engaged Penn Stater, Ally is a passionate bookworm, coffee-lover, and Boston sports fan.
