Bryan Valentine

Director of Student Affairs at Penn State Schuylkill

Bryan M. Valentine, Director of Student Affairs at Penn State Schuylkill, has over 23 years of higher education experience at various institutions including the University of Pittsburgh and University of South Florida as well as Penn State. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences Area Concentration and Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration, both from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Valentine has held several different positions throughout his professional career including Director of Housing and Residence Life, Director of Student Life, Dean of Students, and Director of Student Affairs.

Mr. Valentine’s passion is his involvement with Habitat for Humanity. He is a former board member and past president of Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity and former member of Habitat for Humanity Pennsylvania. Since 2004, Mr. Valentine has taken students from multiple colleges and universities to Florida each year during spring break to participate in the annual Habitat for Humanity Collegiate Challenge program. He has also led student trips to Amarante, Portugal; Montreal, Quebec, Canada; and Warsaw, Poland to work with Habitat for Humanity affiliates in those countries. Currently Mr. Valentine serves as the advisor to the Penn State Schuylkill Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter and co-advisor to the Penn State University Park Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter.
