Olivia Lewis

Director of Diversity Enhancement Programs, Smeal College of Business

Olivia Lewis is the Director of Diversity Enhancement Programs in the Smeal College of Business. In this role she works mostly with undergraduate students to support their academics and co-curricular activities as part of a long-term retention plan for students from underrepresented and underserved backgrounds. Ms. Lewis serves as an academic advisor, instructor for Smeal’s first-year seminar course PSU 6 and co-instructor for the online business seminar BA 197 for Smeal pre-major students starting at a Commonwealth Campus. She also serves on the Smeal Diversity Council focusing on faculty and staff and helped to develop and deliver STAC, Smeal Together Achieving Change. Ms. Lewis has previously served as the Chair of the Commission on Racial/Ethic Diversity (CORED) and sat on the review teams for Penn State’s diversity strategic plan A Framework to Foster Diversity twice.

Ms. Lewis has an Associate of Arts degree in Sociology from San Diego Mesa College, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership with minors in Labor and Employment Relations and Sociology from Penn State University and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration with a focus on Higher Education Administration from University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
